Because I am Webmaster for the Estate of Spalding Gray, I get regular Google new alerts.
I get this bi polar one way too often. I have no idea why but finally I’ll say it.
Yes Spalding was probably diagnosed as bp at some point. He was probably also diagnosed as many, many other things to add to the list.
As far as I’m concerned, Spalding and bp had nothing to do with his death. He was brain injured in a car accident. He was depressed and received counter advised treatment in a psychiatric hospital. Those and other things lead to his death.
Please take his name off of this site. It is inappropriate. If you want to run a strictly medical model site, that’s just fine.
Just leave Spalding’s name out of it.
If I was the Estate and not just a volunteer, I would insist on it and bring legal action. This site is as almost as bad as having an unauthorized picture of Spalding in the Scientology ‘Museum’…
